LewisC’s An Expert’s Guide To Oracle Technology

I wrote the other day about how recruiter’s and it folk can work together. Tonight I was contacted by a recruiter looking for Java programmers. Besides me already taking another job, I’m not a java guy. I’m a database guy who does some java. So, I wrote him back and told him that. He replied and asked me to pass on his blog to any java guys I might know.

So, if you are a java person (guy or not), take a look at the blog. It’s an odd looking blog, at least in Firefox 3. There are a few good posts there for anyone currently looking for a job. It’s new, so there’s not much, but it’s a start.

Questions to ask Interviewers – 15 questions to ask during the interview to engage you with the interviewer

Questions Often Asked by Employers – 34 questions that you might get asked during an interview

Interviewing – 18, mainly common sense, tips for the interview

Counter Offers – 10 reasons not to accept a counter offer

I wish more recruiters had blogs (or sites) like this. This tells me that the recruiter really wants to connect with me and not just make a buck.

If you know of a recruiter with a good site like this, or you are a recruiter with a site like this, send me the link. If I like it, I’ll give it a quick write up.
